In response to monsoon rains and associated flood related extensive damage and destruction in Pakistan, APPNE collaborated with Pakistan Association of Greater Boston (PAGB), Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN), Islamic Center of Boston (ICB), Wayland and organized a fundraiser. We collected over 80K in donations from various individuals and organizations. We are working with Comprehensive Disaster Response Service (CDRS) which is registered in the US and Pakistan to organize relief camps to distribute relief food, shelter and medicines. We are collaborating with Medical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases Society of Pakistan (MMIDSP) to organize medical camps in the affected areas. As of September 30th, 2022, we have dispensed $30K to CDRS and $10K MMIDSP. We will regularly update this page.
