APPNE is raising funds to establish an endowed scholarship for Pakistani and Pakistani Descent Students who are enrolled at University of Massachusetts T. H Chan Medical School, Tan Chignon Graduate School of Nursing and Morningside Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Worcester, MA. UMass accepts students from all over the country and every year more Pakistani Descent students are enrolled at UMass. Our goal is to collect $25000 which will be matched by MA State grant of $12500 (50 cents/dollar) to make it $37500. $1500 will be awarded to an eligible student every year based on financial need and merit. Once fully funded, this will be the first scholarship dedicated to Pakistani descent students in a major Medical School in the US and will continue in perpetuity.
