Pakistan Flood Relief Fundraiser

Excessive monsoon rains and floods in Pakistan have led to over 1500 deaths and significant destruction across the country. More than 33 million people have been affected and many villages have been completely wiped out. You can watch Reuters and AP video here. APPNE collaborated with PAGB, OPEN and ICB Wayland and held a fundraiser on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at Islamic Center of Boston-Wayland to help the victims of recent rains and floods in Pakistan. We have collected over $80K which will be sent to Pakistan.
We are working with charity organization, Comprehensive Disaster Response Service (CDRS) which is registered in the US and Pakistan to organize relief camps to distribute relief food, shelter and medicines. We are collaborating with Medical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases Society of Pakistan (MMIDSP) to organize medical camps in the affected areas.
We will continue to collect donations to help mitigate the long term effects of floods and help the victims.
Please ask your friends, colleagues, and community members to join us. Check with your work place to see if they would match your donation.
